Photography Is the Story I Fail to Put Into Words
“Photography is the story I fail to put into words.” – Destin Sparks
Nature inspires me. I find myself deeply moved by creativity, innovation, and remarkable architecture. Whenever I come across such moments, I often wish my family, friends, and loved ones could see them through my eyes.
To me, photography is the most powerful way to capture and share these meaningful experiences. And often, these moments come unexpectedly, fleeting and beautiful, when only a cell phone camera is within reach. That’s why I rely on it to preserve these memories.
As Ansel Adams once said, “There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.” A great photograph is simply an honest reflection of how we feel about what we see.
Between 2016 and 2018, I had the opportunity to travel extensively. During that time, I began taking photographs with my phone—spontaneously and passionately. Today, I’ve built a personal library of over 2,000 photographs. I’m excited to begin sharing 25 of them through this story map, with a plan to expand it to my top 50 in the coming weeks.
I’ve also created my own hashtag #myclicks_as, which you can find on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Every photo shared so far is captured using just one device my trusted Moto G5 Plus.
